The rumor mill is swirling with what to expect from the next generation iPhone. Â With the iPhone 5S and 5C seeing disappointing sales and amid growing competition from the Samsung Galaxy and HTC One, consumers expect great change with the new release. Â Speculation hints that the new iPhone 6 will come in two sizes, one with a 4.7 inch display and another with a 5.5 inch display. Â An allegedly leaked document of the schematic for the iPhone 6 provides further evidence that we could see an iPhone in this 5.5 inch range.
The diagram was posted on a Chinese website and later emerged on a French blog with a solid track record for leaking tech products ahead of launches. Â This diagram reveals the dimensions of the rumored iPhone 6 or at least one possible model. Â The length is listed at 5.9 inches with a width of 3.3 inches, a substantial increase over the current iPhone 5S measuring in at 4.87 x 2.32 inches. Â This size would trump the HTC One, which as a 5 inch display. Â By stepping into the 5.5 inch display, this would be Appleâ??s first foray into larger handsets. Â Samsung pioneered into the bigger smartphone market in 2011 when it released the original 5.3 inch Galaxy Note and was followed by competitors such as HTC, Nokia and LG.
In addition to the larger size, the iPhone 6 is rumored to have more accurate mapping and a strong focus on fitness.
